Just found my grant termination in spam
They did it. They terminated my NEH grant. Their letter went to my junk mail. This is an active grant that would have finished on June 30.

Just heard the law firm Skadden, Arps, threatened by Trump, has joined other firms caving to that orange bastard. I was a paralegal for 40 years and I’ve never been so contemptuous of big American law firms.

Ezra Klein has really helped me make (some) sense of our recent political hell weeks. Listening to his recent on the damage tariffs will do the country, I find I’m coming to believe either that Trump is descending into madness or is a Russian agent weakening the nation on demand. Or both.
