I know it’s not technically polite, but I love having a conversation with other people who are comfortable with short interjecting interruptions. To me it makes the conversation feel more like something we’re weaving together rather than alternating individual presentations. It feels more alive.

No community moderation is great. If people just blocked/hid accounts that followed those accounts or just want a warning that’s very valid. I’m just saying someone people took it too far and assumed follow = support, when there are reasonable cases to follow when you are against someone too.

Individual whitelists we can make against a label. I have a few labelers I trust (skywatch.blue, blacksky, med misinfo, laelaps) but there’s a common prominent one I don’t use due to reports of it being used to label users based on personal beefs even though on the whole they help avoid issues

my favorite first-rain after a lack of it experience was when i was going outside to celebrate, see the neighbor across the street already dancing in the rain, and then immediately laughing because they disappeared from view (behind a fence) bc they slipped from said dancing in the rain

so like the icon only mode but where you can have that left bar wider? huh that’s not a bad idea I like it, wonder if you could hack it on zen browser (id mention them but cant find their handle typing so w/e)
