Excited to be heading to Stavanger this Sunday for Helse Stavanger’s International Research Day!

Photos from my last visit - 3yrs ago!

Sad to be missing the National Day and Eurovision there on Saturday, but thrilled to be reconnecting with collaborators.

In Liverpool today for #BNA2025 sharing our pilot study on #psychosis mechanisms in #Alzheimer as a case study on collaboration with Medicines Discovery Catapult. Great that they're prioritising psychiatric syndromes in dementia.

Busy day this week running out SmartSocks study (testing new #healthtech for objective measurement of #agitation in #dementia). Started 3 participants in London before wrapping up for two residents in Berks after 4 weeks testing. Grateful to the care home staff for their insights!

*super food and also that'd be sunrise not sunset 🙄 - I blame the jet lag.

By for now, Sydney.

Powered up for the last day of the conference in Sydney where I chaired the first session. Apparently açaí is a super good though maybe not when it's got that much yoghurt and syrup in top 😋

And the sunset before heading home

Very grateful to @drmoyramortby.bsky.social for making this happen 🙏🏻

A qualitative study of perceptions of residents, relatives and health and social care professionals

Flanked by a sizable plate of pastries before getting started with our #antipsychotics in #dementia event today. >30 attendees from social care, NHS and members of the public.

Best practice approaches for severe agitation in dementia still stimulates insightful discussion. Work here not yet done.

What started with a routine Xmas (too early I know) listen to Stay Another Day has turned my train ride into a deep dive to find my other fav boy band songs (in no particular order):

1) It's Alright (E17)
2) Story of My Life (OneD)
3) Pray (TT)
4) The Right Stuff (NKOTB)
5) Larger than Life (BSB)
