Reckon the pumpkins are gonna struggle. I am cursed for some reason and a killer of pumpkins. Can never grow them for some reason. It must be the soil. I've deliberately planted one seedling where the compost is, so hoping that might make a difference this year.

I'm stuck in the private rental market in a small country town on a DSP. Too scared to move to a bigger town due to higher rents, but feel lucky in some respects because I know others are struggling with lack of affordable housing and terribly low Centrelink payments.
