My lawn mower died the other day. Thought I'd have to buy a new one. Googled it. Went to Bunnings and bought a spark plug & removal socket & replaced the old one. OMG it worked first time. I fixed the mower. 🤣#NotAHandyMan

Grace Tame fights against a legal loophole frustrating abuse survivors
In every Australian state and the NT, churches cannot be held vicariously liable for historical child sexual abuse perpetrated by their priests. Grace Tame is leading the charge for change.

Did mowing and now knackered. Sitting on the couch sweating like a pig, no offence to pigs intended. Silly thing to do on a hot day, but mindful of fire season upon us as the grass dries out. #RideOnEnvy

NDIS plan ends in a couple of days. Not heard a bloody thing from the NDIA. Causes a lot of anxiety not knowing whether I'll be contacted or not and if they will extend the plan like previous years rather than doing a review. Sigh.

Against my better judgement I did the face scan age verification thingy and now considered to be an adult on this platform. Annoyed I had to do this because of Labor's shit policy.

The laws were drafted with the intent of making every user have to identify themselves, not just under 16s.

To use features of Bluesky, we now have to provide a Face Scan (HELL NO!!!), Credit Card (HELL NO!!!) or ID Scan (HELL NO!!!) to a third party provider.

I see the Grattan Institute has put out another report on People with Psychosocial Disability.

All I can say is Goddess help us.

They do not speak for me as an NDIS participant with Psychosocial Disability. They can get stuffed with their patronising, ableist, clueless and paternalistic rubbish.

Very chuffed after working hard over the weekend to get vegetable garden up and running. Planted tomatoes, spinach, egg plants, pumpkins, zucchini and silverbeet. Thankfully water tanks are almost full as we had the drought last summer, so fingers crossed will have enough water for veges this year.

Got bit of a fright as I was walking outside. My brain saw the head of a snake in the grass and I had a panic response. Seconds later my brain realised it was a harmless Blue Tongue. 🤣

Had a good drop of rain today and the water tanks are filling up. Such a relief given the drought we've been through in SW Victoria over the last 2 years.
