Every happy post in that group is a kick in the teeth. I'm truly happy and excited for them, but it hurts at the same time. A reminder of how far we haven't come with no guarantees of progression.

We haven't even started stage 2 because the medical advisor thinks my autism means that I "lack empathy" and "could create a chaotic environment for a traumatised child."
They're suggesting a psychological evaluation to see if I am fit to parent. And the agency... Well.
