Does this mean we have to address you as Madame now in our queries?

Congratulations!

Happy birthday! Looking forward to reading this soon!

Can you talk about the “Maybe” pile in QueryManager? When an agent does that last pass through queries they liked and either does a final nice rejection or a request for more, what tips the balance?

You’re in luck, Claire. My dentist definitely needs a second copy for her second home! The data is really interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Imagine telling your grandkids how you stood up to protest a PARK. Definitely the top issue these days.

Just finished Moonrising yesterday while on vacation (left a review in Netgalley). I am not sure if I am sad to go home or sadder because I am out of pages. Really enjoyed all the characters, especially Alex, and look forward to reading more of your work in the future. Congratulations, Claire!

Deserved! I enjoyed it even more than Made for You, because I fell for the interaction between Daniel and Lily right away (you truly feel the thrill!). The plot of Made for You would make an excellent movie but the male characters were almost universally chumps at best, garbage people at worst.

I finished tonight my first ARC and just loved the ending! I think Beach Bodies is the more apt title. Which one did you actually push for?

But the final moment when I flip the page to the Reading Guide:

Text to come.

Text to come.

Text to come.

gave me Redrum vibes.

Spooky! In the best way.

Thank you for the explanation! Should we assume you have read things in the ABLA second-chance box?

And they always respond:

Thank you for writing
It’s not the right fit just now
Query me again soon!

Is it okay to ask about the pen name? Just curious!
March 20, 2025 at 5:03 PM
How’d they fit that in a label? 😮

I am looking forward to reading this. 🙂

How would you feel about a “feverish embrace”?
March 14, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Do you ever say “one mic, one voice”?

If I squint just right I can see mine in the graph. 🧐

AI professional correspondence always sounds like a recent college grad who has been tasked with writing 500 words about something they refuse to research in any way, shape, or form.

I often write down ideas for stories, so I won't forget them. But typically I only start a draft when I have those first few lines singing in my head that I just can't stop thinking about.

I keep one unfinished manuscript in each room of my mansion with expressed written instructions that NO ONE is to leave until they are complete. I have since lost my keys, and the deed to the mansion. Still, it’s only a matter of time now. I am sure of it.
