this reminded me of ~20 yrs ago, my 1st nokia phone had a rooster ringtone. I was at a restaurant w/ my parents & made my phone play the rooster sound. someone across the room responded with their phone, & we continued making rooster calls at each other every few minutes for the rest of the meal 🐓

opossums are also much more polite than raccoons... one time a raccoon grabbed the entire cat food dish and carried it away! (but at least he returned the empty dish afterward... we found it near our front steps the next morning)
