Everyone has an opinion on #StarTrek #StarfleetAcademy, so here's mine! It's promising, and better than the previews led me to believe. Are there groan-inducing stereotypical young-adult moments? Yes, but not as many as I expected.

I feel sort of silly writing about #StarTrek when federal bullies are out murdering citizens, but I don't know what else to do at this time.

I just can't get behind 10-episode seasons. I know it can't be like it used to be with 25 episodes every year, but can we compromise somewhere around 15?

Which is better: fewer shows with more episodes, or more shows with fewer episodes?

Version 1.4.3 of my site went live today with some new content. Still working on episode guides for TNG, but it's going a little slower than I anticipated. But I'll keep moving forward! c6reviews.com

My toxic trait is that when the milk jug is almost empty, I'll always leave a little milk behind. That way, the next person has to deal with rinsing, recycling, and opening a new jug. Only I live alone, so I'm always the next person.

When I watch new episodes of Strange New Worlds, I think "Why would you ever cancel this?!" It's so good! A shame that we went into this season knowing that the show was cancelled and we only had 26 episodes to go... somehow spread over 3 "seasons." Back in my day, 26 episodes was ONE SEASON.

New content drop! My review and episode guides for PICARD are here, along with a new review of NEMESIS and a new topic guide: SEVEN OF NINE. I wanted to get this larger-than-usual update out before I go on vacation next week. I hope you enjoy it even if we have different opinions!

I need to post here more often. Anyway, work on Star Trek: Picard is going slower than I thought. "It's only 30 episodes, not 170 like the 90s shows!" -- but I'm spending more time and going into a lot more detail in my reviews. 9 episodes to go; next site update will be a bigger one! c6reviews.com

2 days left: Season 1 of Star Trek: Prodigy is leaving Netflix on June 24th. Twenty episodes at about 24 minutes each... that's only 8 hours of binge-watching! 🖖

Well, this is disappointing news. I feel like we're witnessing the post-2017 era of Trek petering out like the franchise is preparing for another long hibernation. It was clear that the showrunners were throwing lots of formats out to see what would stick... I was just hoping something would stick.

I'm going on vacation for a little over a week and I'm pretty excited about it! We all need to take time for ourselves, and I haven't done that in a while. When I get back, I'm going to watch the second half of season 1 of Star Trek: Prodigy and publish some more updates to my website, c6reviews.com

Well, I WAS working on reviewing Star Trek: Picard next for my website, but it seems I'll be pivoting and cramming in a re-watch of season 1 of Star Trek: Prodigy before it disappears from Netflix next month. bleedingcool.com/tv/star-trek... Prodigy is not JUST a kid's show, I got really invested!

Just a few updates to c6reviews.com today, including a search function for the timeline AND making the color coding on the timeline WCAG AA compliant. Working on Star Trek: Picard next, but it's still going to take some time. But time, after all, is a companion who goes with us on the journey.
