Yes, a challenge of getting pediatric vaccines is that in my experience, the pediatric offices have gotten updated covid boosters months after the pharmacies and I’ve always preferred vaccinating my kids in October rather than December/ Jan.

But I believe not for kids? CVS won’t let me schedule for my kids, at least.
