We could see the moon and a bright star in the east shining through our windows.

Rain first thing and it cleared up but I missed my chance for a 🚴after a walk into Town.
Pic 1 is the view towards home and we could see rain sweeping in and ride would have been wet.
So, how about tomorrow? ☔️☔️☔️

Pembrokeshire weather isn't my friend.
Very disappointed with all this ☔️☔️
And more ☔️☔️this week. I’ll go mad!
so jumped onto a Rouvy race this morning and missed the start by 2 minutes. Idiot!
No warm up and in last place with 38 riders ahead of me so 5 minutes in, head down and finished 12th. 🥵

Pembrokeshire cycling when the sun shines
When my mate Paul joined me for a ride it was hot and sunny.
I wouldn’t do this route from home today as it’s ☔️☔️☔️☔️🌬️

Interesting light and shadows this evening

Pembrokeshire walk
MrsZ was convinced I’d be out on my bike and with the sun out, why not but, I joined MrsZ and Ruby for walk saying, I’ll go 🚴 later.
On the walk we got chatting to a farmer who owns the land above Parrog with gorgeous views.

Pembrokeshire ‘Pot of Gold’
At the end of a rainbow I thought I’d find a pot of gold and not a cement mixer.

Book arrived today.
Yes, a real thing that goes on a bookshelf.
These days it’s mostly Kindle and mine is used a lot although I do miss proper books.
When we moved we only kept a few…shame
The author of Stories Behind The Headlines was my sisters boss at Land Rover.
Looking forward to reading it.

Pembrokeshire Gravel!
It’s down every lane where we live!
RotorQ ring fitted followed by lunch out.
By the time we got home, it was getting dark so no bike ride

Pembrokeshire Cycling
Just over the bridge is the lane I ride down a lot that follows the river.
The bridge is damaged from the tree so will be closed for some time.
When the water subsides I’ll be okay as my route is from the other side.

Pembrokeshire Cycling
Trees down with roads and lanes flooded after three or is it four days of persistent and heavy rain…..I’m getting fed up….
Farmers have been out overnight doing what they can to help.
Back on Rouvy to preserve some sanity

Pembrokeshire dog walk not a bike ride
It was chilly when we eventually headed out and a local club rider was heading home so maybe I should have gone out.
Interesting to watch the complete strip out and re-build of this double fronted house.
Small cottage next door for sale. £1 million

Main course to cook later

Great Nephew is 7 and we asked what he would like for Christmas.
Ouch! £100k!
October 30, 2025 at 9:55 AM
it’s going to be a bit windy
October 30, 2025 at 8:15 AM
Very mixed field and age groups and that isn’t unusual.
You can see how strong 1st place was and when you have guys and girls as strong as that, I just hang on and hope!
Surprised to get 3rd place
October 30, 2025 at 8:10 AM
On the way to the beach I couldn’t help notice something wrapped up in the back of an estate car.
Couldn’t see any concrete blocks…….

Weathers changed and it’s wet and windy and the hill is looking a bit gloomy.
Good job I went for a bike ride earlier.
So now I’m chilling out and decided I need a RotorQ single chainring for my new Gravel bike. Ordered!
I have two road bikes with RotorQ chain rings.
Love them.

Pembrokeshire cycling.
The autumn colours with a bit of sun shining are gorgeous.
Very enjoyable ride even with a stiff breeze blowing and on the open bits with 40mm Carbon wheels, made it even more interesting!

Our house far right. No cars! I remember further down the road they would have driven a carriage through an arched driveway to a rear courtyard.
October 24, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Never been to Tenby as it’s a long way from home…it isn’t.
50 minutes or a nice bike ride in warmer weather.
Wednesdays bike ride binned so MrsZ, Ruby and me headed down.
Suns out and a nice walk on North Beach and a mooch about town followed by a late lunch in Narberth.

Pembrokeshire ‘View from my rear end’
It’s a bit of a faff downloading and then editing without subscribing to the app for my Chillitech rear camera.
Front GoPro mount has arrived today for the gravel bike So I’ll be having a front view soon….

Pembrokeshire Cycling 🌲
That was an entertaining ride through the woods.
It’s MTB terrain as the inclines are very steep and the downhill bits 😳
No traction as so slippy…had to walk!
You do need 50mm block tread tyres for that terrain but gotta
say, riding on the dry gravel was a blast!

Pembrokeshire Sparrow
Not just any sparrow, but a special sparrow.
Lighter in colour and managed to get the shot looking through the French windows as they are a jumpy group with the birds of prey on the hunt.
