Rain first thing and it cleared up but I missed my chance for a 🚴after a walk into Town.
Pic 1 is the view towards home and we could see rain sweeping in and ride would have been wet.
So, how about tomorrow? ☔️☔️☔️

Pembrokeshire weather isn't my friend.
Very disappointed with all this ☔️☔️
And more ☔️☔️this week. I’ll go mad!
so jumped onto a Rouvy race this morning and missed the start by 2 minutes. Idiot!
No warm up and in last place with 38 riders ahead of me so 5 minutes in, head down and finished 12th. 🥵

Car brand BYD's new SUV ad pokes fun at people walking and cycling, comparing them to Horse & Carts.
It joins a long list of car ads that sell a false promise of convenience and aspiration while punching down at sustainable transport modes.
So I made it a bit more realistic...

Pembrokeshire walk
MrsZ was convinced I’d be out on my bike and with the sun out, why not but, I joined MrsZ and Ruby for walk saying, I’ll go 🚴 later.
On the walk we got chatting to a farmer who owns the land above Parrog with gorgeous views.

We often forget how far we have come: Today almost 3/4 of EU electricity generation is from non-fossil energy sources.
It is not long ago that fossil fuels dominated the EU's electricity mix.
This year their share is approaching 1/4 of EU electricity generation.

Book arrived today.
Yes, a real thing that goes on a bookshelf.
These days it’s mostly Kindle and mine is used a lot although I do miss proper books.
When we moved we only kept a few…shame
The author of Stories Behind The Headlines was my sisters boss at Land Rover.
Looking forward to reading it.

Just over the bridge is the lane I ride down a lot that follows the river.
The bridge is damaged from the tree so will be closed for some time.
When the water subsides I’ll be okay as my route is from the other side.

Really disappointing govt response to the fireworks petition (95,000+ sigs).
Still no action on the real issues - the sound pollution that terrifies animals and vulnerable people, and the air pollution that harms everyone.
We need more than just “guidance.”

Petition: Reduce the maximum noise level for consumer fireworks from 120 to 90 decibels
We think each year, individuals suffer because of loud fireworks. We believe horses, dogs, cats, livestock and wildlife can be terrified by noisy fireworks and many people find them intolerable.
