It was great to spend some time with @zackpolanski.bsky.social in Handsworth today, welcoming him to one of my favourite parts of the city (outside Billesley where I live, of course). The reaction on the streets was great and he had a real connection with people. Can’t wait to see the video.

Politicians disagreeing with the global science of climate change are a total disgrace. Oddly, they never seem to have personal opinions on plate tectonics or particle physics.

The first scientific paper hinting at what we now call the greenhouse effect was published in 1824. It's not new science.
