Real Caelheads will know Ive actually already done a bit of this! The one-shot Tennessee Garcia involves you beating up some Spanish fascists, and ISh has a reference in its sitreps to the involved factions too!
The Story Thus Far section from Tennesseee Garcia and the Raiders of the Lost Leviathan, a one-shot written with @ashandgold.bsky.social and @witchylichynyx.bsky.social. It reads as follows: Tennessee Garcia takes place in Chellah - a mountainous, mediterranean coastal region of the planet Hana. Once a powerful nation in its own right, Chellah has since fallen under conquest and colonial rule by the kingdom of Corazon, their claim solidified with a brutal war of suppression under the command of General Franc Bahamonde. Three years ago, General Bahamonde launched a coup to take control of Corazon, leading an army spearheaded by the troops he led in Chellah. To fund his military conquest with arms, ammo and mechanized chassis, Bahamonde has turned to a subsidiary of Harrison Armory. Where Bahamonde’s fascist army, La Falange del Progreso Nacional, stakes their claims, a vast engine of resource extraction follows close behind, destroying the land to stopgap Bahamonde’s debts. The PCs are indigenous revolutionaries, local allies, or off-books Union operatives aiding the local resistance movement against La Falange forces in Chellah. In their attempts to thwart Bahamonde’s plans, the resistance movement has discovered that members of La Falange have been pursuing rumors that an ancient local legend may have basis in logic. A section from the Sitreps in Ironbound Shadows! It reads as follows: “Bravo Team, we need you out there fast! Intel says there’s something special about those ruins; La Falange cannot get a chance to establish a beachhead within them.” – Comrade Dihya Al-Amin, Confederación Anarquista del Corazón [Archived Audio] Take and Hold missions require the PCs to secure a Control Zone (CZ) over six rounds. This zone might contain valuable resources, important infrastructure, or culturally significant locations.

Rotating ideas more in my head for Next Project™️, and I think the Spanish Civil War concept might just be winning out. After Ironbound Shadows, I think it would be really really rad to focus down on writing a bunch of revolutionaries

It’s important to remember that all your life experiences contribute to the art you make! Listening to music can also be practice for writing, enjoying a meal could give you inspiration to paint something you otherwise wouldn’t have! Grinding skills is important but we all learn in different ways
