Good movie! Octopussy was the very first Bond movie that I saw as a teenager. I still enjoy the suave Bond that Roger Moore brought to the screen. And that little BD-5J microjet that he flew at the beginning was awesome! 😁👍🏻

It looks like a fun place to be. I haven’t had the chance to go there myself.

Long term thinking means that something needs to be sacrificed today for something into the future that current generations may never see the benefit of themselves. That’s a tough pill to swallow for today’s short term “I want it now” mentality. That’s y we’ll need to be on the brink b4 it changes.

Here’s the issue as I’ve noticed it. Society’s developed a “Live for today” attitude more than ever. But that’s only half of the full quote which says “Live for today, plan for tomorrow.” That 2nd bit is what many politicians & ppl alike don’t want to do. Most prefer short term thinking.
