And this is Murphy aka Señor Pingüino. He's my sweetheart who sits on me every chance he gets and follows me into the bathroom too. I've never been sure if he has enough black fur to be accurately described as a tuxedo cat or not.

This is my tortie, Millicent aka Millie. She is a horrible bitch to everyone in the house with the exception of my dad (and very occasionally me). But I still love her to pieces as she came to me as a teeny tiny baby kitten.

My new thing is ethical consumption. Which means divorcing myself from Amazon. Unfortunately, the two most helpful online guides I found were from overseas and I need US based suggestions. Anyone have ideas for ethical, sustainable, cruelty-free retailers or brands with good human rights records?

One of Trump's biggest promises was to address the rising cost of living. But will he do anything to challenge the main source of high prices — corporations who have gobbled up their competitors and now have enough market power to keep prices high even as their costs have dropped? Of course not.
