Just finished The American Revolution, and like everything that Ken Burns does, it's outstanding. Definitely essential viewing, especially in today's political environment where words mean little to nothing, and we have become untethered from any coherent sense of who we are as a nation.

It's really pretty remarkable how quickly they pivoted from "this is all about drugs" to "fine, it's the oil," in like 2 weeks time after the most basic interrogation of their war crimes and totally bullshit narrative they were trying to manufacture.
