A cake that happens to #crochet
Did some yarning while out in the holidays. Was playing a game of chicken with 1 ball so I couldn't make the leg any long this time. #crochet 🧶

What you all may find with my new year resolutions is that im never really trying to make a radical change to myself or my ability overnight. While it may be a little slow to do, that's what the year span is for and I think it makes for greater consistency than the 2 weeks of gym and then nothing.

This past year my goal was to get a little more comfortable with colorwork in my crochet. While I think I have mostly achieved it i think the project im trying to complete at the moment will help me see what I can work towards in that direction. I know sc color changes I did struggle on.

Goals for the upcoming year: make an effort to try learning Tunisian crochet regardless if I end up disliking it. And hope I find myself with the means to repair my nice clothes when they eventually wear out.

If you use Telegram for messaging inside a business organization, you are a brave soul with the sticker packs that exist out there. I might be missing the feature where you can preview the stickers before sending.

If I end up saying something along the lines of not liking the holidays it is usually not the holidays themselves but the demands people like to have to get things done by the end of the year. Leaves me ready to end my day quickly

Whats the preference with yarn. Would you rather pull from the center if a ball/skein or from the outside of said ball or skein because now I have notions for both.

The bed is a trap to those trying to wake up as well as those who only wanted to rest their legs for a few minutes.

#crochet 🧶 decided to do something technically with the leftover yarn.

The Gävel goat has to be some self-fulfilling lesson in the unpredictable nature of events in spite of any solid attempt to prevent them in the first place.

The time your nerdy friend gets married is the one time you should pelt them with Nerds candy instead of the seed or rice. Sorry birds.

Remember kids. When it comes to gifting, anything can become a good gift. I was excited to recieve a stick (mop handle) one year.

Day is slowing down and I can now feel the sugar in my veins. What a mistake it has been and I didn't have any eggnog

Lots of times if I'm working on a project in front of a few people if there is someone that hasn't seen me work before the first thing they will generally comment on is my yarn tension being incredibly consistent. Like a machine, I don't think much of it and hence wonder what it looks like otherwise

I used to poke fun about how for a coworker someone would basically need an interpreter to understand them until I came under a similar situation. Where you are managing so many things across many team members at once that any time you answer a question it sounds like a stream of consciousness.

I've been having to grapple with how much more difficult it is going to be for people to avoid AI tools. As someone mandated to a cert that basically says I can consult for AI products, I feel like what will end up being a blunder is when you try to throw AI where there wasnt a clear business need.

I encourage some of you all to look at old published TAS runs if your favorite games. There is a non-zero chance that a subset of people who watched it commented like they didn't know what a TAS was and thought the runner was just built different.

I think I've reached a milestone in life when someone makes a video referencing a game being released a decade ago as when they were in elementary school. Sir, I remember discussing this at the high-school cafeteria. Everything makes me realize how old im getting.

I finished my playthrough of Sable and I have to give the developers, Shedworks, some kudos for making me choose my calling at the end of the game a surprisingly difficult decision. I would definitely say it is more for people willing to choose their own adventure in a game.

Can I make a modest request that notable voice actors for their roles in young audience entertainment from early 2000s slow down the rate they appear to be perishing. I know me saying anything won't do much. Im just hopeful.

I think one of the best experiences later in life is becoming content with mediocrity just due to the resulting suffering from proficiency someone may incur on themselves.
