@boston.gov onboarded all their agencies to Bluesky to engage with Bostonians. Whether it's broken sidewalks, missing signage, or community issues, they want to hear from constituents. With little to no engagement on X, their actual interactions on bsky have increased. Engagement > follower count

Agreed! TBH I don’t use agentic stuff too often, but Claude code has been extremely good when I have used it

I’m mostly using traditional chat interfaces like a dinosaur

That’s interesting! A friend of mine who is hands down the best engineer I’ve ever worked with uses it constantly and swears by it

I haven’t poked at it myself, but probably should so I can form my own opinion

We have several folks in the EU and GB already! They typically work slightly shifted hours to try to overlap with US west coaster folks though

we're building out k3s for our on-prem kubes solution, and use EKS for AWS stuff (and it's been pretty great!).

the other distribution I'd recommend checking out is Talos, which I run on my homelab and it's great! not being able to ssh in to a production server is a no-go for bsky tho haha

I used to run longhorn in prod before coming to bsky and we never had an incident with it FWIW. But I did have the same fear as you at the time haha

claude pointed out an obvious bug to me and I literally said out loud "that's absolutely right". this sadly is a real thing that just happened to me

my positive vision for atproto is for people to have a greater degree of self-determination on the public social web.

baseline experience should be decent, but motivated folks should be able to organize and get more control over their online spaces and experience in line with their norms+values.

this is something we're thinking a lot about but don't have an answer for yet. DMs are off-proto for instance, as are some other things such as bookmarks (there are a handful more)

here's a recent post from our CTO on the topic, he's got some more there as well
