This is awesome. i'm going to be annoying again about this "major blow" framing that keeps popping up. if someone steals money from you and you get it back, it is not a "major blow to bullies." it's justice. it's back to normal. even the fee they're paying isn't enough to be a "major blow"

made a big tower called the Great Library in minecraft. do not worry about what's going on in there
The Great Library during the day -- it's very tall, and rising up above the mountains surrounding a low valley. A swirl of something organic and sparkling connects to the tip of the tower and extends to the base. The tower's layers look wobbly and imprecise. The tower in the evening. The tower at night. The light of the swirl twinkles, and an organic mass of yellow light glows behind the windows at the top, giving it a lighthouse quality.

About a third of the way through The West Passage and so far it's a total banger. Adventure through a diminishing horrible fantasy city governed by monstrous giant Ladies. Clever, light narration of a befuddling, sad world I'd compare to book of the new sun, or a fromsoft game
