Good analogy - except majority do not care about angering dwindling MAGA. A Trumpian one-off moment driven by covid/vibes/racism/sexism and strongman appeal means many MAGA will fall off. That said the damage done will be impossible to fix and the rampant corruption will never be prosecuted.
