The tragic thing about MTG for me is that a lot of the mechanics look interesting, but playing it against another person feels like the most obnoxious thing I could imagine

RPG dev work continues. I've hit the point where I'm either starting work on items or abilities next, and I've had the realization that they're pretty much the same thing. An item is just an ability bundled up in your inventory.
