Latest humanitarian effort to bring aid to Gaza has been intercepted by Israeli pirates in international waters, north of Egyptian waters.

Israel is behaving like the Mediteranean Sea has been ceded to it. When will the world rein in this rogue state?

Self-publishing transparency post:

I make the most on an Amazon paperback.

I make the 2nd-most on an ebook from itch.

I make the 3rd-most on an ebook from anywhere else.

I make the least when you order a paperback through a bookstore.

tbc there’s no judgment on readers here; just facts ✌️

Gorgeous colour though.

This, all this. On top of that, survival mode leaves no room for creativity, your brain just doesn't want to know about it (at least, for me)
oisinmcgann.bsky.social
It’s really hard to describe to people who are not artists how survival mode does *not* inspire creativity, as the myth would have us believe. It suppresses creativity as you try to limit every possible risk – and the opportunities that come with them.
aliettedebodard.com
It turns out building habits and stuff actually requires not being in survival mode, who knew?!
(Yeah yeah I did)
