Because if that were the deciding issue, it seems like they would’ve waited until after the court decision about SNAP emergency funds before going through with this, for one.

I started watching the Senritsu Kaiki series, and…
It’s pretty goofy.
It doesn’t help, though, that the default subtitles were straight up making up dialogue. Not minor translation differences, but talking about entirely different things than what the spoken words were saying.
