Turns out going and partying for 6 days fixes some of my depression bullshit, slowly picking up the pieces of my life and feeling pretty good lately so you might hear more from me soon 👀 we'll see how long that lasts but I feel like something clicked for me and I feel really hopeful about it.

I finally found an author I like as much as William Arand and I swear Daniel Schinhofen *is* just him again.

I'm going insane, I think.

Also, Andrea Parsneau, you are a fucking gift to the world.

Shaving your head is an act of unburdening.

I understand now, god that's freeing.

Those issues I'm talking about I originally gave up on, got it "working" and moved on. I was super frustrated and intellectually fatigued which is probably why i couldn't figure out how to do encapsulation even though I obviously know how to do that.

Setting it aside ultimately helps every time.

Yeah so I figured it out working on a different part of the basics tutorials and it was so easily avoidable and simple that it caused some imposter syndrome.

Listen to people when they tell you sometimes you need to set it aside for a bit to solve it.
Been running through a bunch of basics with SDL2 because I've been itching to code, and spent a couple hours chasing down issues in class and header files.

I forgot about the desperate relief that comes with fixing an issue in C++ that you definitely caused all by yourself.

I want to talk about the two lizards I caught at work but I think I should avoid spamming, so I'll just say I caught two Mediterranean House geckos at work where they are RAMPANT and ADORABLE.

Hackers (1995) is so fucking lame that it genuinely circles back to one of coolest things put to film.

God, it's so fun.

I will forever be extremely pissed that the "physical activity will improve your mental health" people are right.

It does, and I hate that so fucking much.

So turns out hooking up a character LCD to a 65C02 (wdc65c02sxb) is more complicated than initially thought.

This chip from the 70s is too damn fast and I have to put in a disgusting amount of NOP's for it to work.

That's what I get for running at 8MHz I guess.

Praise be to Ben Eater.
