That's so cool, I can't wait to see those FEC! So the empress specifically, there's a show Alexander McQueen did themed around Jack the Ripper, and I used that as a jumping off point. The main colours are red and off white, with black and gold details. Some shots of my notes here, if it's helpful.

For heraldry I actually just cut up stuff from an old issue of Dazed and use modge podge and paint to collage them into banners and fabrics, like in this pic, then just do colours of the rest of the mini to match.
