If I could say anything I wish I'd known sooner, it's to just stop beating yourself up. It's ok to want to do other things for a while. Try to be kind to yourself and come back to your own creative pursuits at your own pace.

For me it was a little different, more a mental health crash and then starting medication. Unfortunately I don't have an easy answer, basically as I worked through the therapy resources I could get and I adjusted to the meds I was able to do more creative stuff beyond Warhammer and work

This is actually the whole reason I started painting Warhammer in the first place - I used to write scripts every day and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I do an arts job so I could do that, but nothing extra. I used Warhammer as an outlet to be creative again.
