fr my first teaching gig was full-time ntt (5-5 load) for 31k/year
Anyhow just saw a full time ntt job for a Lecturer with a salary of $36,300 a year advertised.
I made 38,000 as a first year public high school teacher in 2005.
But please everyone remember that professors are far removed from the concerns of the working class.

Let me just say if the 2025 NEA fellows get this grant funding, 100% of mine is going to promoting transsexualism.
Sharing from a friend the new terms for National Endowment for the Arts Grants: If you "promote gender ideology" in your work or if you promote diversity, equity. and inclusion, you are no longer eligible to apply for a National Endowment for the Arts grant.
