Husband. Father. Change-maker.
This past weekend, protests of resistance and defiance dotted our country.

I know it’s tempting to tune out.

To give in.

To believe things are falling apart-and nothing we do matters.

But this past weekend was a reminder of what happens when we refuse to give in to disillusionment.

Double standards aren’t a flaw in our politics. They’re the strategy.

And President Obama points them out eloquently.

It’s about testing how far boundaries can be pushed before people rise in unison to challenge them.

We need to rediscover the standards and hold politicians accountable.
🔥 OBAMA: “IMAGINE IF I HAD DONE ANY OF THIS… I say this not on a partisan basis. This has to do with something more precious — who are we as a country, and what values do we stand for?” 🇺🇸

Sycophants are in charge.

They’re promoted because they flatter.

Incompetent yet rewarded.

The bold?

They’re sidelined because they challenge.

And the whole system gets dumber by design.

We’re watching it play out in real time.

Consider this your “Signal”. 😉
Act with urgency.

We’re not heading toward a constitutional crisis—we’re already in one.

Not with a bang, but with a slow unraveling: broken norms, unchecked power, and fading outrage.

The question isn’t if it’s happening.
It’s whether we’ll notice in time to stop it.

Resistance doesn’t guarantee victory—it makes it possible.

Every movement began with someone refusing to back down.

Power counts on silence, but history remembers those who stand up.

Keep pushing. Change starts here.

It’s disheartening to see a leader shift the blame instead of taking responsibility.

It’s cowardly.

Great leaders take responsibility—even when it’s uncomfortable.

Especially when it’s uncomfortable.

Because leadership isn’t about looking good. It’s about doing what’s right.

History is repeating itself even as we speak.
“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.”

Donald Trump is a narcissist. Starve him of the attention he craves and he’ll wither.

Put your attention where it belongs- on yourself and the people and causes you care about the most.

Ps: I’m trying out a TikTok alternative in the works called @skylight.social. Check it out.

Focused resistance in the age of Trump is what’s needed.

They’ll be many opportunities for knee jerk reactions but what’s needed is clarity on what you value and hence what you’ll fight for.

@skylight.social I’m excited about what you’re building. It will help in this era. Let’s go!

The arrogance of procrastination is that we think we'll be alive tomorrow.

The graveyard is filled with people who thought they had all the time in the world.

So, get on with it for tomorrow isn't promised any of us.

Few people have principles.

Most have preferences. Preferences bend, twist, and snap under pressure. They sway in the wind, adjusting to convenience, peer pressure, or whatever the loudest voice in the room demands.
