Reminder that NOT consuming bad news all the time is literally self-care.

Being online you are constantly bombarded with information shoved in your face.

Remember to take breaks from it, whether it's a couple hours or a couple days. It really helps emotional/empathy fatigue and burn out.

Sooooo.. turns out moving is expensive. I'm in the new apartment now and everything went smoothly enough, but between the costs of renting the uhaul as well setting up utilities and first & last rent, I've got almost nothing until the 15th.

I've got a goal of $500 CAD (about $350 USD). Money would go towards the first month of internet ($90 CAD) and storing my car for a month while I wait for it to get sold ($280 CAD). Remainder will be for food and general not dying.
