I was thinking a lot about old retro games I love, lately. One that wouldn't leave my mind is the classic 'Tyrian 2000' (Free on GOG, btw!), so I decided to try my hand at fan art. Think I ended up a little off-model though, whoops.

A witch sits on the edge of a cliff, overlooking a vast sea of bramble vines that stretches beyond the distant horizon. Her shadow isn't her own, and two glowing red eyes and a glowing toothy grin can be seen within it. The sky is red, and it looks like spattered blood. In the middle of the sky is gigantic hole, surrounded by a bright eclipse. The hole if filled with a spiralling inky black smoke. A darkened dungeon cell has a single anthropomorphic mouse character sitting on the floor, back against the wall, clutching his knees. He's dressed in rags, and wears a flat cap. The corridor is well lit by torches. A second mouse stands in the corridor, and looks to be the first mouse's twin. He's dressed as royalty. Both mice have glowing red eyes, and glowing sadistic grins, as though they're both in on some cruel prank the other isn't aware of.

It's not my most recent work, but this Art Fight attack on @konofluff.bsky.social is easily some of my best work. I don't think I'll be topping it any time soon, not even with art of my own characters.
