Reminds me of what happened with my diabetes diagnosis. My doc, who is normally a very reserved and calm man, looked at my blood test results and said, "A bad number is this. This should put you in hospital. Your number is 14 times that. You should be dead. How are you here??" Darkly funny indeed.
