Hawlucha and Metagross are here as placeholders and because they're my favourite shiny alphas i've hunted for, and Raichu is there to see what the Shiny Mega looks like, but i'm already planning to swap these three for Golisopod, Corviknight and possibly Alolan Marowak.

Clawitzer I hunted yesterday because i'm so convinced we'll get to see Mega Clawitzer Z based on its inclusion in the Lucario Z Reveal, and I still think Goodra might get a mega, esp since we're getting another Pseudo Mega (Baxcalibur) - but if Hydreigon is in the DLC i'm swapping Goodra instantly.

I was so excited to use Chesnaught when they revealed the mega Kalos starters, only to immediately find out that Chesnaught would only be available like 6 weeks after launch, so even though this is the only non-alpha on the team, I think i'm gonna stick with them for a while as my new "starter".

It's also possible that Kieran was the first to discover Hydrapple - It's in the BB Dex but Applin isn't in the Terarium, and the specific apple for evolving Dipplin is seemingly native to Kitakami, so he might have been the first person to attend BB with a Dipplin and evolve one.

I'd say Steven and Metagross is kinda close in gen 3 - he's the only trainer to use one and the only source for obtaining that line in the whole hoenn region, excluding Colosseum.

Even though it's one of the more subtle ones I think it's gotta be Baxcalibur. The stance and the extra ice wrapping around its head does a lot for the design - but ofc it's the one I won't be able to use right away because it's gonna be a ranked season reward :(
