What is? You think Tunsil is going to hold out and not play this year without a new deal?

Or you think Peters wouldn’t trade/cut him with his zero guaranteed money next offseason if I he has lost a step and isn’t worth another season at $20m for us?

What’s the wish?

If I’m Peters he’s playing this season on this deal, period. He can (re)prove his value in a new organization & show last year wasn’t the beginning of the end, or he won’t.

Peters can trade him again next offseason with no guaranteed money left, or negotiate an extension then if warranted.

Very disorienting to me to have rotated ⤵️ these images w/ west side on top 👀 but captures the remarkable transformation for sure.

Lived & worked down there in 2012/2013 & still had no grocery store; just a Subway, Five Guys & rotation of food trucks at lunch. Unreal difference since then, too.

Ok, feels like this confirms there was indeed an outage earlier, but we’re back obviously… and given the surge in user numbers, it seems fair to assume it’s actually a pretty impressive feat by Bluesky’s team we haven’t seen more & that tonight’s outage was so shortlived.

Also, pretty sure we had our 1st platform outage (that I’m aware of at least) earlier this evening… but I can’t be sure because what was I supposed to do? Go back to Twitter to see if anyone posted about a Bluesky outage?

Re: Netflix, they got plenty of hate for the streaming quality & worries about NFL Christmas, but that misses the point. This whole spectacle was designed for exactly the purpose of stress-testing their capabilities to ensure they don’t have a fiasco when it matters in a little over a month.

So I'm hopeful regardless of @readwise.bsky.social founders' personal preferences to stay on the other site, they can at least recognize there is a critical mass forming here at Bluesky to where they need to prioritize developing the integration here to mirror the capabilities on this platform.

X/Twitter has clearly declined as a platform in multiple waves of exodus since Elon took over & destroyed its infrastructure, and the last 2 weeks has decimated its relevance.

But unlike previous rounds, it seems people are coalescing at Bluesky this time, instead of spreading across alternatives.
