I have a real problem with Mortal Kombat games.
Namely in that, despite their undeniable production values, huge amounts of, er, Kontent, and fun guest characters, I find them unbearably stiff to play and largely joyless.
That, and they're the only fighting games I have ever placed Top 8 in. FML

I think one of the biggest changes from my 20s to my 30s is how little interest I have in incremental improvements in things. When I was younger, I had to get the newest phone, the newest update, the latest issue.
Now everything has a sort of weary identical nature that absolutely isn't worth it

Bought a Kindle Colorsoft - electronic ink screens are just *neat*, even if I have no clue how they work.
Also, proud of myself for not just immediately re-reading The Hobbit as my first read on this.

I started Skies of Arcadia, finding all the discoveries on my AYN Thor has been handy with a guide up on the second screen, but what the hell is up with this random encounter rate?

I've been slowly making my say through the Trails series lately. Maybe picking a series of 13+ games with scripts longer than the entirety of the Wheel of Time was a bad idea for my spare time.

So, I finished the first arc of the Trails series, Trails in the Sky.
I knew I was getting into a hell of a thing with this, but I still don't think I expected how much of a home Liberl has become for me over the past few months.
I'm legit going to miss this place as I move on to the next game.

The Arkanya story is DONE! All of the cutscenes, all of the required dialogue, everything needed to get from the beginning of the game to the credits. ITS DONE.
