Obviously this place isn't perfect and there are some things about Twitter that I miss but, like, Twitter died a long time ago. Staying on X because you want it to be the place Twitter used to be is a fool's errand.

I gave up on that site when some art-thing happened a few years ago (I don't even remember what it was, if I'm being honest), then a few months later the head-honcho did what sure looked like some Nazi salutes, then there was "MechaHitler", and now there's this *even worse* Grok thing.

so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

As for the near future, I intend to get my Game-of-the-Year blogs out at some point in the next few weeks (I want to beat a few things I started last year and didn't finish) and I'm also thinking I want to try to make more art in 2026.
