Cool dude.

He/him.

Pfp by @CuteBlueUwU on the other site.
How the hell does that even happen?

Your work is all sharp lines and harsh shading, those are like the two things that AI images explicitly * do not * have.

Is this what people mean when they call out for you to "think fast"?

The last like 2 months I was on Twitter I realized that I could correct my feed by looking for pictures of bunnies and then liking like 50 of them all in a row.

Honestly, it was one of the more pleasant time frames on that site.

I would personally argue that the random surge that IP saw back in the early 2010s doesn't count as "staying relevant"

Pretty much every 80s toy IP has had a surge or two in the last 30 or years, but Transformers and TMNT are the only ones to really have consistency.

I don't know how valid that is, but he IS a producer on Ares and the Tron franchise was dead for like 15 years or so between Legacy and Ares, so I'm inclined to believe it.

I remember reading somewhere that most of the movies he stars in he also has a producer credit for.

So the theory is that he puts up a not insignificant amount of cash for the film's production to get himself a role.

Stoked to play a version of factorio with an aesthetic that appeals to me!

does coming back at the start of a patch help that at all, since at that point things are different for everybody and not just yourself?

That said, when they give Ekko and Akali their True Damage skins I *WILL* be there
January 20, 2026 at 2:59 AM
Multiple creators have launched highly successful channels on YouTube talking about how uninspired and lame The majority of the League of Legends skins.

If anything, we should be glad that the skins we're getting aren't just generic MMO armor in red with gold accents.

Like it's too late now.

The damage is done.

The only solution would be the people making these things ripping the whole system up from its roots and starting fresh which,

1. Eventually gets back there since it's human psychology.
2. Pisses off the existing users.
3. Costs BOATLOADS of money.

Because we as people are innately more likely to agree with things that are personally validating, users said "yeah that worked" infinitely more when the LLM's response agreed/supported/reinforced whatever the user said/asked.

So now they just blindly agree to whatever you plug in.

There's an interesting connection between the "Anthropomorphization" and "AI is wrong" sections:

After a user goes and prompts chatGPT the website will ask the user if the responses were good/helpful/what the user was looking for, and then adjust the future outputs accordingly.

However..

And as much as I love Leon's character, having CV be in the news cycle somewhere would be welcome to not fatigue out on him.
January 18, 2026 at 5:16 PM
Absolutely.

As much as I personally wanted RE4R over CVR, I'll admit that RE4R didn't need anything, maybe a new coat of paint if we're feeling ambitious.

Meanwhile there's so much more that could be done with CVR and it would have been the more interesting choice.

okay just as a quick aside: these games haven't been set in WW2 since 2009.

but as far as "An unbiased and accurate take on WW2" goes, yeah the Wolfenstein games already do that. In those games you kick the shit out of Nazis, and yeah in real history the Nazis also got the shit kicked out of them.
January 18, 2026 at 5:08 PM
However However I personally feel that that argument lost basically all of its weight after 4R came out as barely a remake and more a brand new game based on the same script.
January 18, 2026 at 4:33 PM
The original CV is considered to be one of the weaker """main""" titles (I know it was gonna be called 3 but Sony said no). So you're going to have to put a lot more effort into making what is effectively a completely new game with the same premise.
January 18, 2026 at 4:33 PM
I definitely see the argument to not want to do CV:R from Capcom's perspective.

The original versions of 2 and 4 are both still excellent, so there's a ton of great stuff to draw from, and 3 gets to piggy back off of 2.

However....

Are there any other characters like that?

Like characters that seem to compel every individual designer working on them to have a slightly different conceptualization of what that character looks like?

I can think of Ahri (the fox girl) from League of Legends.
January 18, 2026 at 4:26 PM
Honestly I think it would be kinda funny to make the same mech game a few times in a row. Each time you're only changing the parts/frames and the cast of characters to fit the various different flavours of mech.
