I really do believe there's an audience for everything, and that some are just simply going to create louder or more subdued fans based on the work.
I know it's hard in webcomics thinking that 'no one reads your work' but i think it just has its own unique reader base that may be more or less active

some people engage with media, esp indie media, not to better understand it as the creator intends, but with the goal of being THE BEST AND MOST CORRECT FAN

stop thinking of indie work as something 'made correctly' or 'made for you'

nothing will be 100% made for you unless YOU are the one making it

engage with work as it is - you can hold space for what you wanted it to be, but you gotta uncouple yourself from the disappointment or you'll be poisoned

depictions of rape is not a bad thing. it is a sensitive subject and should be engaged with care, which is why the mod tools should be in the hands of the individual to self-determine their own limits

if you censor rape, you are making rape something no one can acknowledge exists or talk about

Ibland känns det som att folk inte vet vad vänskap är för något. Din ribba för hur vänskap ser ut måste vara låg och skev om du inte kan skillnaden mellan vänskaplig kärlek och romantisk kärlek.
Helt ok om två karaktärer är vänner och inte romantiska. Det är inte en mindre kärlek för det? Så skumt.
