Hulu is an American service that Disney bought. For us it was called Star.

Things like Shogun, Alien Earth, Only Murders were part of it. I don’t think any of the content has changed. Maybe a few things get added, but it’s just branding.

I know it’s not an original observation but it’s the wildest thing scrolling through posts that are a mix of the silliest nerdy stuff or funny jokes, and then immediately seeing posts of the atrocities across the world, and people struggling to live. I know we can walk and chew gum, but it’s crazy.

I started a Fringe rewatch as you may have seen, but it kind of stalled as I lost momentum. Wasn’t really in the mood I guess, so I have gone back to an old friend at the dawn of the third age of mankind, and started a Babylon 5 rewatch.

That first half of 5 isn’t great, which is a shame because the Earth War was meant to carry into the first part of 5 which not only would have raised the quality of the season, but also given that story more time to breath. It rattles along quite quickly in 4.

I’d love to see that too. Luckily he factored in backup plans because he knew tv is volatile.

Despite the chaos it did hold together well, and in some ways the changes helped. I prefer Sheridan to Sinclair, I prefer Lyta to Talia etc. Losing both Ivanova and Marcus for S5 was a big blow though.

Of course there’s a lot about season 5 I wish was different, because of the Studio messing them around and contract negotiations getting messy, so maybe in an ideal world it would have come later and JMS just figured it’s better to get it out there than risk being cancelled and never explain it. 3/3

It feels quite random being in season 3, where they haven’t even won the war yet, and there are big reveals for several characters that I think fit better with the season 5 arcs. Its current position does fit the weird timey wimey nature of B4, but I think it would hit harder near the end. 2/3

I really wish on Babylon 5 that ‘War Without End’ 2 parter had been the last episodes before the finale. It would bring the threat of the Shadows back & risk undermining what they had achieved already, and to provide an exciting ‘one last adventure’ compared to the more muted final few episodes. 1/3

If this happens to be the one I’m thinking of, then I agree the podcast is both excellent, informative *and* they are extremely nitpicky, but I think it comes from a place of absolute perfectionism as professionals being thorough. But I don’t think they need to be that pedantic about everything.
