This not being a win is why I don’t play chess.

Like I love playing healer in games, so it’s no biggie for me to choose the role, but team comp matters, and I shouldn’t be the only Strategist healing a bunch of aggressive murderhobos. I’m good.

Even if you only tell your therapist half of what you’ve got going on, it would at least be some weight taken off your shoulders.

As a fellow internet stranger with his own mental health history, please talk to your therapist before it gets worse.

I get that, and I really hope that that wouldn’t be the reality of it, but the first step to getting better is often a very risky/daunting one. IME it’s better to try and get help (even when it’s terrifying) than to let it fester and make you feel even worse.

I don’t know what you’re going through, and it’s none of my business regardless, but stop lying to your therapist if you want to be heard by them. Unfortunately they can’t read minds, so they can only help you if you let them know how you’re feeling. I really hope you get the help you need.
