No need to get personal. I have 2 degrees in economics. And, I live in a country with an asset tax - which i think is a great idea. I ldon't ove paying taxes, but - because I have low income - I figure it's fair that I pay some of my 'wealth' to support the quality of live I enjoy.

you can't tax someone (even assholes) because of an adjective: "billionaire!" Taxes must be clear, consistent & applied to all. Asset taxes can have exclusions and graduated rates as income tax. Why 1%? Why 5 years? Why '$1bn?" A "1% on people I don't like for 5 years" would be illegal.
