Sadly, we had to let the Bowie the Dogg go last week. He had congestive heart failure and his suffering was too painful.
Our vet was compassionate and Bowie slipped away with his head in my lap.
Goodbye Bowie my bestest doggie.

This morning we witnessed an ICE action on our block.
This afternoon I saw this woman standing where it happened.
She was still there this evening.
I took her a bottle of water and asked her if she was standing vigil.
She looked at me with pain on her eyes and said "It's all I can do"

So i bought this super cool wok a few months ago. I'd always wanted one.
Haven't got it perfectly seasoned just yet but its getting there. Ive made some delish meals with it.
But here's the thing: it is big. The only place ive found to store it is in the oven.

Discussing DC vs Marvel comics with @anneb tonight.
But i really wasn't into superheros as a kid. My strongest comic memory was Yellow Submarine. I read it over and over. I actually have 2 figurines from the movie.

The Vet recommended honey for Bowie. But he won't have it.
So I grabbed the next thing in the panrty that looked like to would work.
So now Bowie has a thing for Mrs Butterworth.
