Freddie A. Clark writes Science Fiction, Grimdark and Horror with a Cyberpunk and biomech twist. Based in Milan, Clark lives with three cats, their partner, and a massive collection of Venetian masks. They draw their creativity from ‘80s aesthetic, movies and pop culture, and from an endless pile of books, graphic novels, manga and video games. The art of H.R. Giger and Zdzisław Beksiński influenced them immensely, took over their mind, and gave them the ability to spawn nightmares through words.

WHAT IS CHANGING?

💀 My stories are going to be darker and my worlds harsher. That's why I updated the genre Adult SFF as Grimdark in my bio. The world of MAKING MONSTERS is basically hopeless and the story is mostly set in a prison. Nobody is innocent and not even the MC is a hero.

💀 I will NOT write romantic subplots until it's 100% clear what my genres are and I feel comfortable enough to add them again. The only exceptions are the stories I write and publish as F.A. Clark. Follow @faclarkmonster on Instagram if fairy tale-ish, hopeful stories are more up your alley. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

💀 I'm going to have more fun and conform less and less to publishing rules, because I'm an artist and writing is self-expression to me. There's no point in being a writer if I can't be creative.
I might make strange choices such as music comps, weird formatting, and chaotic asides/interludes.

💀 When MAKING MONSTERS is finally done and ready to be published, I'll finish CHRYSALIS and focus on my next novel. I won't share anything about my next WIP until the final draft is done.
