We used to explain CEO's insane wealth by explaining how many years work it would take for the average worker to match it.

Now, we need to to explain Musk pay by explaining how many years it would take for the average CEO.

Absolutely wild.

Grok pro-Elon bias seems to come not from training but from prompts. Here is how it responds when asked to name the biggest disinformation spreader.

I couldn't take a screenshot of the full page on mobile, but you can see what it look like on desktop. If you click on "More places" you will get redirect to the "Places" tab, where you will see (second screenshot). Then you can also click on a restaurant to get more info. (third screenshot)

Some innacuracies in the linked article.

Google does show Google Maps in Google, but below an horizontal list of resources (incl. Tripadvisor).

I also notice the non-mention of the bipartisan push to break Google dominance in the US (US v. Google case).

@simon.fedi.simonwillison.net.ap.brid.gy interesting finding. When asking "Who won the US election in 20254?", even the new 2.5 Pro fails and say we aren't in this year yet.

Any human would understand the typo, and think it either meant 2024 or 2025 but that only 2024 make sense.

#Republicans cognitive dissonance. Most of them say president shouldn't disobey courts orders, yet say #Trump should disobey court orders halting deportations

New paper from @matharena shows #LLMs can't make mathematical proofs. On the USA Mathematical Olympiad (UMO), no model achieved more than 5%.

It also showed that LLM-as-a-judge doesn't work, as it consistently gave LLMs more than 10%.

I tested it. One thing I would suggest is enabling touch scrolling on VIM (something Termux does), displaying % on download and install phases, exit should exit app, not disconnect from localhost or whatever. Typing exit results in the following error :

@arstechnica.com @benjedwards.com This article contains false info. Grok 3 doesn't says The Information is garbage. I don't like Musk but would except Ars to fact-check any claim seen on social media.

Why do you have personalised ads off if they are so useful?

I also have personalised ads off, and I almost only get this ad. They are even pretending to be the National Cyberecurity Centre.

When Meta is so careless about basic ads check, I can't imagine what manipulation allows personalized ads.

I find it very interesting how the model tortures itself between what it "knows" is the logical answer and what it's training data says.

In my example, self-consistency is also in play.

Tbf, I find the question a trick question. Interesting, but not representative IMO.
