Like I personally don't like him but neither am I disgusted by him. BTW, polls also show he is the most popular administration secretary.

Kinda make me thing there was some backroom deals to make this part of the trade "deal".

You mean that they might reach a compromise that would be better than the draft but still undermine GDPR?

This is a commonsense measure, but it seems a consolation gift for the Commission wanting to severely weaken GDPR protections

You don't have to spam your point. And there is NO EVIDENCE of what you say. It is true about 10 democrats negotiated this deal, so more than the 8. But saying they "all had a hand on it" just isn't true.

I wouldn't until/unless this deal is voted. Don't shame before it is done, so you keep a way for those dems to back-down of this deal.

But we might see another "Next question" moment when asked whether Schummer/the moderate dems caved.

proof?

Well actually Apple still uses green bubble for Android RCS, AFAIK.

There is also the issue of Apple backing up chats to the cloud by default, breaking the encryption model (unless you have ADP)

But except that, yeah it is also a good way to use it.

they will cave like they always do. at least if Jonshon/Trump pressures them.

The media really should stop using the term clarifying for something that is clear. Clarifying should be for ambiguous remarks only.

Then they can just make an AI simulation of every person and use that to personalize ads /s (hopefully)
