Beyond the park across the street everything has disappeared this afternoon. Ottawa has seen 61 cm (2 feet) of snow so far this month.

My Old Ass should've had so much more buzz! What a breath of fresh air. I hadn't expected it to be so emotional.

I grew up watching Star Trek repeats in the 70s. Had a toy phaser and toy communicator.

A retired Vancouver ER doc of 25 years tells it like it is - if you wait for public health to protect you & your family from the flu etc. frankly, you might well end up sick, possibly in hospital. Be proactive & heed their advice this season. surreynowleader.com/2025/12/06/o...

I haven't seen it in many years either but loved the show and those two characters so much! Especially in The Ice Princess storyline with the Cassadines and carbonic snow.

There's been so much terrible news lately that we're all reeling. As a hardcore General Hospital fan in my youth I'm also very sad to hear of Anthony Geary's passing and am imagining him and Tristan Rogers (Luke and Scorpio) catching up together in some better place. people.com/anthony-gear...

By all means wash your hands well but the main mode of flu & covid transmission is through the air, via respiratory droplets & aerosols produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks or breathes. Others are infected by inhaling the droplets & aerosols (which remain airborne for a time).

You make very logical observations but whoah boy it's dark in my apartment. I feel like I'm stuck in that movie 'The Others' with Nicole Kidman and her kids, enveloped by impenetrable fog.

Is the sun still out there? Can somebody from outside the area confirm? I live in Ottawa so can't tell. Environment Canada forecast: "Heavy snow and local blowing snow continues. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow."

I love this for Justin Trudeau, and for how much it must be making his haters crazy. Il vit sa meilleure vie.

Only thing I bought in Black Friday sales was the Britbox deal, $5.98 for 2 months. At last I can watch the 3rd season of Happy Valley.

I'm lucky #313 on the hold list for the latest Thursday Murder Club novel 😆. Finally going to watch the Netflix movie tonight. Just need to pull out some biscuits to snack on first.

1. Gender-affirming care is health care.
2. Reproductive health care is health care.
3. Both are lifesaving health care.
4. Health care is a human right.

November 13-19 is Transgender Awareness Week, a week of celebration, advocacy, and education to honour the lives and stories of trans people.

Course he's not. Poilievre doesn't have it in him to reflect on his own actions. No accountability, no insight. What he does exhibit on a regular basis is 5 habits associated with narcissistic personality disorder: grandiosity, entitlement, attention-seeking, manipulation, and lack of empathy.

Outside my window just now. It's been coming down all day. Sounds like it could finally tail off around 3 or 4 in the morning.

About 7 weeks into waiting for an MRI with what looks like a loooong way to go. The Ottawa wait times for lower priority patients are 44 - 82% longer than the provincial average. I've been waiting for a nerve conduction study for a couple of months longer than that & no date for that either yet.
