I am obsessed with the Milky Way! Living near LA, it's a very light polluted and I've only seen it three times in my 36 years of life. Went out to see Comet Lemmon (camera didn't get it sadly) but got these pics of the Milky Way at Joshua Tree, CA at different exposures

Why did you pick your species?
A friend of mine suggested I be a kangaroo since I was a bear previously and wanted something different. Also, I was associated with roos as a kid due to my love of Dunkaroos, just being bouncy, and visiting Australia as a teenager.

A few years ago, I told Ghirardelli they should make caramel kangaroos. They thanked me for the suggestion but never did (then deleted their Twitter). But they did make a teddy bear and named them Caramel.
Since I was a bear and considered being Caramel Bear before going with a roo, I approve!

I've got kittens!
Rescued them last week. They were abandoned or orphaned under my house, no mom for 18 hours. Shelter wanted to euthanize them. I couldn't do it. I'm fostering them and today they started to eat solid food. I'm proud of how far they're coming!
