YIMBY and abundance are good, but need to be combined with billionaire wealth taxes and antitrust. Success is good, monopolist oligarchs are bad.
because it is fricking awesome, and the throwbacks are by far the best looking kit for both teams.

The more of the Nepo Baby owner's allowance they burn through while ratings crash the better. Keep up the good work Bari!

What part of the American general population and media in particular makes anyone think this is wrong? Americans in general have the attention span of a goldfish.
January 26, 2026 at 7:34 PM
Now it is all about loyalty and who will stand with the administration as they work to burn the country down. The worse you are and the more crimes you'll be charged with if the administration leaves power the better you are for them now.

Did someone make sure Trump can still identify a Giraffe before the call?
January 26, 2026 at 5:14 PM
Defense held the one time they really had to. But otherwise mostly just were enough of a speed bump to let Darnold won this one. Pats don't have that Offense.
January 26, 2026 at 4:27 AM
Well that would explain why it only applies to Trump, maybe SCOTUS does have a consistent theory of the law after all!
January 25, 2026 at 6:35 PM
He does. I think Alito and Thomas are clearly all in on the fascism, but Roberts may go down as just a naive fool who took a poorly thought out legal theory and turned it into a weapon for Trump. Almost worse than Alito and Thomas, who at least own their general disdain for then rule of law.
January 25, 2026 at 6:08 PM
I do wonder if the realization is hitting him now that it is already probably too late for Roberts to put the genie back in the bottle. He unleashed this without any plan on how to actually control it. History will not look kindly on these monsters.
January 25, 2026 at 5:37 PM
And I expect they would actually raise more money getting people into the streets. If there were QR donation options at protests, with clear IRL proof they'd use the funds on human engagement, not consultants or just buying ads, I think they'd be shocked by the haul they'd have.
January 25, 2026 at 5:22 PM
All they need to do is call in anonymous bomb threats like they tried out in 2024? They don't need to mess with deep blue districts, just enough chaos to shift things in gerrymandered purple districts so they keep the majority. You don't have to be good at interference if no worries on consequences.

It is fairly telling that Amazon doesn't offer a way to stop Alexa from begging you to upgrade to Alexa+. They can't let people opt-out because then those figures might leak.
January 25, 2026 at 12:32 AM
Bezos wants this all. Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Apple...they all have bent the knee happily without even flinching. Just hoping for the day the EU grows a spine and invokes the anti-coercion law to strip them all of their IP protections.
January 25, 2026 at 12:21 AM
"Sam Darnold and ICE, both better when out of Minnesota" Bringing it!
January 24, 2026 at 11:10 PM
Nobody shows up for GOP events except for Trump, he's their only draw and it isn't for his policy or governing. Their claims about paid protesters are because a lot of the Tea Party protest was actually astroturf. They don't want their base thinking too far beyond Trump's circus.
January 24, 2026 at 10:57 PM
Not just plans on paper. If you as a politician can't get out and help mobilize a rally of at least a few thousand people in your home state tomorrow how are you ever going to get the 80M votes you need???
January 24, 2026 at 9:49 PM
Not my original observation but the comeback game was also a Thursday with little time to prep and a heavy need to fix the offense after the 4 pick game. Do think a long week of prep and rest is going to help a lot on the D side this time around.
January 24, 2026 at 9:00 PM
If they delete the footage or destroy the phone that should be admissible evidence and then it is to a jury to weigh testimony of the witness or the people that destroyed evidence. They can ultimately only dig a deeper hole either way and their own base loves a good conspiracy theory.
January 24, 2026 at 6:58 PM
The ONLY saving grace for these videos that keep coming is that they need to be played in midterms the same way GOP weaponized BLM protest and random crime clips. This is what you are voting for more of with any GOP candidates and probably half of incumbent Dems. Not just crime, State backed crime
January 24, 2026 at 6:06 PM
People look at Trump and think a Dem could abuse power the same way, but the current congress would impeach the president for wearing a tan suit and the Roberts court rubber stamp it. The GOP rot runs so deep.
January 24, 2026 at 5:55 AM
Federal immunity is a right of the Federal Govt, and can therefore likely be waived by it in the future. Next admin needs to revoke that immunity and every one of these goons needs to be prosecuted under State law in 2028, where no future President can pardon them. Prison should be good for them.
January 24, 2026 at 5:37 AM
It was rocking and will be again Sunday. In all seriousness a pack of foam ear plugs are really important at the games. And headphones for any kids. At some point OSHA is going to make players wear hearing protection 😀

It's as basic as payroll, there are soooo many records of who these goons are. They won't be able to move on when Trump finally kicks it and the rest if the circus starts in fighting.
January 23, 2026 at 7:19 PM
But you can still yell at them to let whole playground know they are not invited come to play in your super awesome tree house with all your other weirdo friends.
January 23, 2026 at 6:54 PM
Not for Kavanaugh it isn't, just a minor inconvenience really....Trump is a symptom, but SCOTUS is the disease with a clear path from Citizens United to now.
