Going to repost the story about Doom Bathroom from the Something Awful forums.

Many of the I/O address mappings on the Super Nintendo match that of the NES. I know the reasons for why but it is still useless to know outside some programming reasons.

Having filed nearly three dozen FOIs this year as part of volunteer non-profit work, it's a real pain in the ass to get it done. The $10 fee imposed to get results for nothing is not the end of the world but starts to add up real fast.
