I think using chronological order could be helpful to make sure you don't miss anything your friends post. However, I would prefer to see my friends' posts that I interact with on a regular basis compared to someone I follow from middle school that I don't speak to regularly. #uwj201 #309

I think that AI analysis is something that will advance and grow. It will most likely be used more and more in upcoming years. However, I think it is still important for humans to create their own works as well as double-check ones created by AI. #uwj201 #309

I think that authority plays a large role in trusting someone, but even then there are many biases created around public figures. I think that people can trust people they know in their social circles or mutual friends as well as people with authority. #uwj201 #309

One of the examples I can think of is guilt-tripping. For example, an ad or commercial might show a video of puppies in a pound and it can make you feel extremely guilty for not donating to the cause. This is manipulation and not persuasion. #uwj201 #309

I think this is so concerning because people can take advantage of spreading positive fake information about themselves to make them sound better than other politicians. #uwj201 #309

Deepfake is extremely scary. An example I can think of is when a DeepFake pornographic video of Kristen Bell and Scarlett Johanson was leaked on the internet. This created a negative image for the 2 actors and promoted false information. #UWj201 #309

I think this was extremely dangerous because at the time, the general public had little to no knowledge of this pandemic whatsoever. Therefore, when Fox was only reporting on partisans, it was excluding all information from officials. #UWJ201 #309

I think that now a good life is characterized as having a successful job, extremely comfortable income and a safe home environment. However, I don't think this is as easily attainable in the current time. #UWJ201 #309

I think it is important to have free speech. However, if an elected official is spreading false information to the rest of society, it is important people know this is false, or not see it at all. #uwj201 #309

I think it's more fragmented because now anyone can decide what is shared with the world whereas before it was just the large media companies making the executive decisions. There is too much of a large variety of people for there to be one story. #uwj201 #309

I agree. I think it's important to report topics but also talk about the injustices. For example, if reporting a women's march, it's important to not just report the event, but speak about what they are protesting and the issues related to that. #UWJ201 #309

I think the way a protest is framed is very important. I remember in class we watched a video of the looters in the BLM protests and how the media only focused on the violence rather than the actual problem. It is important to focus on the topic and report all the parts of the protest. #UWJ201 #309

I think this can be a problem. For example, certain news reporters and networks can skew the information one way and can be biased towards certain topics. This can lead the general public to believe biased information. #UWJ201 #309

I think that if a title of an article is less polarizing, it would be viewed as less extreme or less important to read. While this may make the article more open to both sides, it may minimize the actual content. #UWJ201 #309

I think that heightened personalization of ads makes me trust less because I feel like I'm being watched against my own will. #UWJ201 #309

I think alarm converage is honestly very efficient and effectful. However, I don't neccessarily think it is always good. It could be overexaggerated and therefore blown out of proportion, therefore leading to possible fake news. #UWJ201 #309

This was something I hadn't really noticed when watching the news, but now that I think about it, when it comes closer and closer to the election, the less the news report about policies and what you are actually voting for. They only talk about numbers. This can affect how people vote. #UWJ201 #304
